Warchild – Iraq

In September 2017, Arete photographer Kate Holt travelled to Iraq to document War Child’s work with children who had been displaced by the ongoing war. The photos have been used widely on War Child’s social media and have recently been used to front their #LearnToLive campaign, in partnership with the Independent and Standard newspapers.

One of our videographers also travelled with Kate on the trip. The footage was edited by Arete’s Jasmin Qureshi into a short video, showing the work of one of War Child’s staff members, Nesreen.
