WHO Somalia commissioned Arete to produce a series of videos documenting its approach to tackling the 2017 outbreak of cholera in Somalia – the worst in years.
We sent videographer Rachel Reed to the country, where she captured WHO’s ongoing activities as well as interviews with those affected by the outbreak. The footage was then edited by our Production Lead, Eden Sparke, with animation elements produced by Lead Designer, James Isgrove.
Four separate videos, each looking at a different aspect of the campaign, were produced, before being combined into a longer-form mini-documentary, as well as being used to produce a 30-second promo video for Twitter.
