DEC – Ukraine

After Ukraine was plunged into crisis in 2022, Arete helped the DEC launch their appeal by providing them with photos and videos from Poland showing refugees streaming across the border from Ukraine. We provided ongoing content support for the one year anniversary of the invasion. The photographs were widely shared as part of the Disasters Emergency Committee’s Ukraine: One Year On appeal, which has so far raised £400 million, allowing 15 of the UK’s leading aid charities to help families impacted by the crisis.
